We built this for our own parents.
MyDailyCheck started with a question every adult child asks at some point — who's keeping an eye on Mom and Dad?

My parents are in their seventies. They live in their own home, in a small town a few hours from me. They're independent. They like it that way. So do I.
But every now and then the phone doesn't get picked up. And in the ten minutes between that and the call back, your brain runs through every worst case.
I didn't want to install cameras. I didn't want them wearing a pendant they'd never wear. I didn't want to move them anywhere. I just wanted a quiet way to know they were okay.
When I couldn't find one that worked the way I wanted it to — one short call a day, no devices, no apps, on the phone they already had — I built it.
MyDailyCheck is for my parents. And for yours. And for anyone who'd rather stay in their own home, on their own terms, with someone quietly making sure they're okay every morning.

What we believe.
Four rules we wrote down before we built anything, and have held to since.
Independence, not surveillance.
We confirm the answer, not the words. No cameras. No microphones. No location tracking. Ever.
Consent first, always.
Nobody gets added to MyDailyCheck without agreeing — by phone, by text, in writing.
Simple beats sophisticated.
One button. Ten seconds. No apps. The fanciest tech is the kind that gets used.
A safety net, not a replacement.
MyDailyCheck doesn't replace family, paramedics, or a real conversation. It catches what would otherwise fall through.
What we see — and what we don't.
The first rule, made visible. We know that someone answered. That's it.
What we collect
- Their name
- Their phone number
- A check-in schedule
- Answered / missed
What we never collect
- No camera or video
- No GPS or location
- No microphone listening
- No wearable device
- No call recording
